Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Overview

Calinedar is a personal time management application developed and maintained by an independent developer. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app may connect to your Google Calendar only after you explicitly grant permission via Google OAuth authentication.

2. Data We Access

Google Calendar data. When you connect your Google Calendar to Calinedar, we access your calendar data solely to display and synchronize your events within the application. Calinedar accesses Google Calendar data in read-only mode. The application does not create, modify, or delete any events in your Google Calendar.

Location data. With your permission, Calinedar accesses your device location to provide location-related features within the app (such as location-aware scheduling and reminders). You can grant or deny this permission at any time in your device settings, and the app remains usable without it.

Usage and diagnostic data. Calinedar uses Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. This helps us understand how the app is used and fix bugs. This data may include device information, app version, and interaction events, and does not identify you personally.

Advertising data. Calinedar displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process your device's advertising identifier and related technical information. See section 4 for details.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above to provide and improve the app's functionality: displaying your events, offering location-based features, understanding app usage, fixing crashes, and displaying advertisements. We do not:

• Sell or rent your personal data to third parties
• Use your Google Calendar content for advertising
• Train AI or machine learning models with your data
• Use your data for any purpose not described in this policy

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Calinedar uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and other technical data to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where applicable. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Advertising Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

You can control ad personalization and reset your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings (Google → Ads). Where required by law, Calinedar requests your consent before serving personalized ads.

5. Analytics and Crash Reporting (Firebase)

Calinedar uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous statistics about how the app is used and to receive automatic crash reports. This data helps us improve stability and performance. It is processed by Google in accordance with the Firebase Privacy and Security terms.

6. Data Protection

We implement the following security measures to protect your data:

Secure transmission: All data exchanged with Google's servers uses HTTPS encryption (TLS/SSL)
OAuth 2.0 authentication: We use Google's secure OAuth 2.0 protocol, so we never have access to your Google password
Minimal data retention: Calendar data is processed to provide app functionality and stored securely on your device
Read-only calendar access: We only request read permission for your calendar, minimizing potential data exposure

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention: Your Google Calendar data is processed to provide app functionality and is stored locally on your device only. We do not retain calendar event details on our servers. Analytics and crash data are retained by Google according to Firebase's standard retention periods.

Automatic deletion: When you uninstall Calinedar, all locally stored calendar data is automatically deleted from your device. You can also manually delete all Google Calendar data from within the app using the "Delete All" button in the settings.

Revoke access: You can revoke Calinedar's access to your Google Calendar at any time by visiting your Google Account security settings.

Data deletion requests: If you wish to request deletion of any data, you can contact us at contact@doappee.fr. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

• You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from within the app
• You can grant or revoke the location permission in your device settings
• You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings
• You can revoke access through your Google Account settings
• You can uninstall the app to remove all local data
• You can contact us with any privacy concerns or questions

9. Children's Privacy

Calinedar is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the app or via email. Continued use of Calinedar after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
